What does the williamsburg restoration mark mean?
This is found on antiques and I see there is a sticker on the back of a framed piece of art.
I have worked at Colonial Williamsburg for 32 years. They have a logo of a “W” superimposed over a “C” which is their hallmark for their approved reproductions of the items in their extensive collections. They don’t put it on any genuine antiques though.
